Where about do you launch from in Byron?
At the pass usually. Easy launch when the swell is small. If it's a bigger swell carry gear on your head and time the sets.
Coming in stay on foil on the back of a wave to get into shallower water.
Only came to grief once trying to come in with big swell (wind died). Sweep took me to Clarke's for a proper rinsing!!
