Tuttle adaptor for Armstrong mast plate.

Hi all .
does anyone know if there is a Tuttle adapter for an Armstrong mast top plate?

If there is no specific one, probably a powerplate would do the job

If you are thinking about windfoiling the Armstrong setup I wouldn't.

Why not? It performs like Slingshot Infinity foil if you use longer fuselage. It is significantly lighter compared to the Infinity set up and there are many front wings one could use. It is a good set up freestyle and many are also using for wing as well so one could use for wind or wingfoiling. He is using 70 cm fuselage but I prefer 80 cm for windfoiling.

I've got a slingshot phantasm jackplate adaptor that I've used with success. Also have a Tuttle 85 Armstrong mast.

the phantasm works ok but you need to do one of two things- A enlarge some of your Armstrong base holes to accommodate a larger screw and buy hardware to fit the jackplate. Or B buy adaptor inserts to use the Armstrong hardware and shrink the hole size of the jackplate. I bought the later; biggest issue was corrosion and making sure I wasn't threading into the bottom of the board as you tighten everything up.

PS- I found the inserts on eBay.

The 70cm fuse works ok. Ive shimmed the rear stab and that seems to have made it less rear foot heavy to the point its quite comfortable. I am going to add another degree next time to see what happens. There is a chance of getting an 80 cm at some point, I'm just waiting to see when.

Out on the water its really nice to sail, very smooth and faster than my Slingshot infinity 84.

As said before this is primary for Winging but secondary for Windfoiling so as long as it works I'm happy.

I agree,awsome set up , like everyone else an 80cm fuse would be great but not essential.Am about to try the V Wing stab As lift is further back Will hopefully add a few cm to fuse length.

really interested on your thoughts on the Flying VEE. I used the 232 on the 1850 and the 1550 last week whilst winging. Huge difference in take off speed needed but lovely once up. The Flying VEE might be better for me than the 232.

I'm using the 300 stab with the 1550 and 1250
both have similar takeoff speeds the 1550 better glide time
i find the 1250 less reactive to pressure waves in the swell so am using it when swell riding
However I'm using the 1550 while I'm trying to master gybing!!
Hoping to try the V tail on Friday will let you know
