Sorry for posting so many threads like this, but person selling the last board I was going to buy wanted $400 for it and its over 10 years old, so I thought this seemed like a better deal.

They want $800 for all of it. Also I was wondering how well the Simmer wave sails would work for lake sailing, about 2 ft waves or so on average.

Marty - Good Deal re the combo. Have you selected the sails? Reason being is that if yer sailin on lakes chances are yer gust bustin. Therefore, I would go with cambered sails that can harness the power to push you from gust to gust. Wave sails bleed the power as you really don't need it in the waves. I sail on the great lakes with a cambered Simmer 9.0 and 7.8. Bread and butter quiver.
