just wondering if the freak needs to have a skinny mast, or can it be just a standard, could some one let me know what type of profile it needs, just hoping i dont need to buy a skinny

i emailed the owner of the company about 6 months back and asked a few questions including skinny comapatibilty. Apparently they work well. If you're not already aware, the apparent advantage of the sfreak is that a sail with the equivalent power of a 7m has a simlar weight to a 6m - (so they claim) and supposed to last 5x the lifespan of your typical monofilm equivalent sail. Mast legths and boom lengths are obviously quite long

maybe it's time to learn the old "sewing machine" art like simon and nebs so we can fixem ourselves just don't get too overcome by those feminine ways and become totally transgendered

spoke to Alberto on sat about masts for superfreaks and he said rdm & ndm are both ok.
my grandson has a 3.5 & a 4.0 & is looking at a 4.7 this year.they have bulk kevlar in them &are as close to bulletproof as any sail i have ever seen.
i dont believe they are lighter when wet than mylar because water can stick to the cloth better than to mylar , but the difference seems minimal.
a sweet little sail able to take a hell of a lot of abuse.
