Awesome event. Unreal atmosphere. Great party. LOTS of sailing. I went in it last year, only 450 people on the start line. Big rabbit (boat) start.
I'd love to do it again. 7 races in 4 days. A giant figure 8 course, 2 laps total 48km per race. Wind can be nuclear. In one race last year the wind was gusting over 50 knots at the first mark (yes they had a wind meter on it). Bjorn and Antoine were on 5.0m...
Lots of folk using wave boards and wave sails. Its about the paricipation.
It gets crazy after the first mark, sailing head-on into the rest of the fleet. And the chop... 450 boards makes a nasty soup.
