Could anyone point me to a good web site to view pics of the second hand gear?

It would help a lot to be able to check the gear pics beforehand.

No, I do not know the websites for used gear, but I can sell you a complete Mistral Malibu with two original sails (6.6m & 5.4m) for $450.

Windsurfing perth
www.windsurfingperth.com.au/
have pictures of their second hand boards on line.
They will also e-mail you pics of stuff, such as sails.

Thanks guys,

The www.windsurfingperth.com.au/ usually show what they have in stock. Not too bad, but still, whenever I need to learn about a board, it's usually not there.

Peet,
Thanks for the offer, but it only underlines the problem I have.
What is Mistral Maliby? What is the flotation, what sort of sails?

Either way, your response is appreciated.

Regards

http://surfspullen.nl/ is a beaut website, which will have detail of the board you are after and about 60% of boards have photos (especially later models).

On the rhs of screen you will see an area with ZOEKEN (search)
1. Type in a keyword for what you want.
2. Change check dot to "Een board in het archief", which roughly translates to "check out the grouse boards" (as opposed to "2e hands Surfspullen" which tranlsates to "used dutch gear").
3. Click "zoeken" button and away you go!

You can narrow searches down to years, brands etc and search result will give you length, width, volume, sail range and sometimes reviews (which can be roughly deciphered on www.freetranslation.com and is good for a laugh!)

Another site is mytrims.com which is in english. Not bad either.

Helps keep the seller honest with the actual age of the board they are trying to sell!!

Mistral Malibu is a tri-concave board (with a central scoop at the front) for the enhancement of early flotation. The board is about 340cm and a definite floater. But for the volume, I can only guess - about 150 litres??
The sails are original dacron sails with cear plastic windows. The larger is purple-green-white, the smaller red-pink.

Thanks Keckoff and JohnE.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Much appreciated.

Hi Peeet,
I'll use the sites to take a look and possibly contact you off-line.
