Fellow wind slaves

I was sailing at Lions Park, just West of Penguin Island ferry jetty this morning and returned to my car just in time to see a white XF Falcon sedan (1987ish model) parked next to me and the driver peering intently into the back of my wagon to see what was worth stealing. Rego 1BMG187. When his slimy mates in the car spotted me, he jumped back into his car and drove away. I reckon 30 seconds more on the water and I'd have been a victim.

I have reported this to the Police, but I'm guessing that as no crime was actually committed, nothing will happen. This guy was super cool when sprung, so I'm sure this is a way of life for these creeps.

Keep your eyes open, and if you spot these budda's hanging around a sailing area give them a nice warm welcome for all those who have been broken into while out sailing.[}:)]

Lucky Day for you Grumpy
Cut & pasted your post to the kiters forum. Reckon we should spread this sort of info widely as possible.
