Umm, the idea with the pricing might be to encourage people to pay less for a different colour Ginger. If they have 50 pink ones and 2 blue ones what is one way to sell more pink ones do you think.......?
I think they've made a basic admin mistake. One sail is red and black and the other is red. Both pictures are of red and black sails that are different years to the accompanying text.
I understand supply and demand economics too, but thank you for the prompter...

For all i know they just have mistakes on their pricing. That's not the point;
Yes, they have made mistakes. I think it is the point. I instantly don't trust that company. They don't know anything about what they are selling.

If you prefer, or have option to, walk into a shop, and drink flat whites I take it, then that's great. I shop for a lot things online , as do millions of other people,
We have an amazon delivery to our house most weeks. Marks and Spencers too... Next are OK too.... Do you really think that I would come from the UK and pay Australian retail at $1.48 to GBP? Though it is 1.67 now. Flat whites are for girls too.

I want to spend my money in Australia but i find it frustrating that it is such a struggle to find stuff and navigate local sites. Having a helpful, well designed website that caters to different types of customer will help any business.
What you're saying is that you want a business who sells very low volumes to employ someone (like you?) in order to build a website that gives a very similar experience to phoning someone up and asking them questions.... and because someone hasn't built this website you're crowdsourcing nearly all of your purchasing decisions from a bunch of random strangers on here.
I'm not saying that the websites are all great but I still can't see the massive commercial imperative to make them any better (beyond maybe just stripping off the redundant stuff and broken links)
Or maybe I should suggest that my local shop sources some quality web design from the web.... these guys look ok....
http://www.webdesignserbia.com/ in Serbia or
www.xpertizein.com/portfolio.html in Bangalore...
My basic point is that by turning the entire retail experience into a web-driven process, the retailer enters a global race to the bottom...
