When those kn westerlies blow all you hear is the shriek of brass monkeys. I draw the line at gloves but there have been times when I couldn't hold onto my booms because my hands stopped working. The other winds are not so cold, and the water's not cold yet.

Ahh so you're talking river water!!!
Try the ocean, that doesn't get much under 18.
I'm wearing booties at the moment cause I hate the mud, cobblers and crabs in the estuary! And I had a 200m wade a few days ago.

jord, I am SO confused.

What is a sand crap I didn't know sand crapped! And how does a sand crap moving scar you Does it cut you first and not heal very well

Booties are BAD... I have worn them while windurfing in shallow water above coral. The only other time I wished I had them was when I stubbed my toe (removing my big toe nail) on some rocks at Dutchies...

A sand crap is the crap left on the sand by the last person who stepped on a previous sand crap. It's one of those self perpetuating phenomena.

Sorry Jordo, but I must admit your "sand crap" made me laugh uncontrollably

Unfortunately Mozilla only checks spelling, not context

PS: still laughing!

Not to worry Jordo, so long as you know your mathematics and the difference between a 5.7m and a 7.5m sail.

The scary thing is that I am an ex-Karratha teacher. Somewhere along the line I get the indication that the foucs in education has got to be literacy again...damn you spelling bee, why do you mock me!!
