Went to a Seminar by Robby Naish in the Late 80's and the thing I remember most was him saying it was in all your moves and transitions "Never Give Up!!!!"

He said when the wind drops and your dogging it back to the beach even when your knee deep in water never give up, persevere, fight, struggle, aim to get yourself back knee deep.

When your trying that first gybe, first time in footstraps, or harness, never give up!!

Words from a great windsurfer and world champion.

Caught Me OUT BIG TIme

No Simon, I took your advice, I persevered, sailed it 3 more times, fine tuned everything, and YES I ENjoyed IT "What an Impetuous Fool am I" Lucky no-one offered me $900 or it would have been gone, now there's no way I even want to sell it, even for the full money I paid for it, I see a huge potential in it

So thankyou Simon, I found your response very Supportive, and Encouraging

Your a good Man, and I'm going to pay you to teach me how to LOOP this summer, I'm already schitting myself just thinking about it, 20 years and I've avoided it like the plague, but it's time to grow up, and Giv it a GO Thanx again SIMON

Good man,
That board F**king rocks. The fastest formula you can get, so it would have been a real shame to sell it on. I remember the first few sessions I had on my formula and an 11m. After 20 mins I would sail in to the beach and just have to lie down to recover. After a few weeks i was out for hours, having a ball.
Formula is not for everyone, but is so much fun in the right conditions. I come from a yachting back ground, so compare it to sailing , instead of trying to compare it to wavesailing.
As for looping, I suffer from the well know industry problem of not spending enough time free sailing, so i will have to get some practise in first. Off to Fiji soon for 6 weeks so have 12 hours a day to practise.
