Hi, i have been looking for a starboard go 144 or 155 as recommended to me for advancement, I am 85kgs and had a few lessons in perth a few years ago, i was at the point of using a harness, and getting on the plane but hav'nt yet. I am having trouble finding a GO but saw a F2 Hornet for sale (second hand), Im wondering if this would be any good (144 and simular dimentions to the GO) as I cant find any info on them. I know the go has multiple strap positions. Should they not be similar in stability and so on?. I only saw one thing comparing the Hornet to a Carve, so I am a bit lost as to were to start, In summary will the hornet be any good for advancing from my beginner level or is it for the higher skilled. I have sailed all my life, its the technique for windsurfing I lack.
Same question for Fanatic Shark 145 and 160ltr I have spotted but not sure if they are suitable.

Thanks for that. Is the tough skin type deck then the difference between the Go and other larger, similar volume free ride boards that may not be promoted as entry level/progression boards? (the go has no center board either) I am looking for something second hand that I dont need to worry too much about but its slim pickings, that and not knowing what to pick except a general guide as to volume. In Brisbane now so if anyone has any suggestions??
