Envious reading the stories from Mandurah - sounds great. Half your luck you blokes! Great to hear y'all had a great day. Some of the crew at dutchies were going off as well.

How's this "big day out" story:

Had a big night - not sure about hangover sailing, but like all, been hanging for some good wind. So, I'm revved, I rig up, step into the beach break at Dutchies, go to put the front foot on my board, slips off, gets caught in the rocks/reef and rip great chunks of flesh off my left foot. "She'll be right" I thinks, try to keep heading out - foot hurting like hell - but no wind to get on the plane, and get pummelled in the swell and washed up on the shore. Get my gear up the stairs and it starts raining on me! (Thanks Paul for letting me sit in your van - I'll clean up the blood later )

Haha - you gotta laugh - one of those "should have stayed at home in front of the fire" kinda days!

My toes are now all swollen up. Are the rocks at Dutchies poisenous?!? I'm off to see the quack this arvo.

... seems that you 've definetely been really unlucky.
These days there are so much sand near the groin to start from, so you 've probably hit the only piece of sharp reef left.
Hope it get fixed pretty quick..good luck

BTW was a good 7dayforecast at the end!!!
