hey all, up at Corros on Monday i landed flat from a 2.5m fall and when i landed i heard a big crack, when i got in i realised it was the board.

My Starboard Evo has a crack runnin across the top of my board inbetween the mast foot and the front straps. The crack doesnt seem to be too deep and i cant see any evidence of creasing on the bottom.

Whos a good repairer in Perth and what do you reckon ill be expecting to pay?

It's really too much trouble and too much of an expense to repair a crack like you have described. You run a good chance that it won't be a good job if it's done, too. Bite the bullet, chuck the board and buy a new one.

Not if you learn to do it right: it is about $60 materials cost...... but lotsa labour.
If you do decide to chuck it I'll have it!!!!

Check out the boardlady.com If you get it fixed it will be the strongest part of the board. Definately worth gettin done ! considering the price of gettin a new board.

Also check out Mike for board repairs. His number is 9336 4761 and has a factory in North Freo. I've had good repairs done from both him and steve.
