Currently I have one board - 74l JP Radical Wave and my biggest sail is 5.0. So this means I miss out on sailing on the lighter days. I want to buy a 5.7 and a bigger wave board. I also want to get a smaller wave board. Just not sure of what size to get for the two boards. I was thinking 68L JP and then maybe an 85L JP. Is there sufficent difference in size between the two? I weigh 78kgs .. oh and before anyone says anything I already know JP boards are gay/metrosexual, my mate reminds me 24/7....

At 78kg I use 80L evo with 5.7m in 15knots. Not always planing but the riding's sensational.

82L RWW might be the ticket.

If you favour jumping over riding you may be better off with a FSW.

Isnt Zed the gimp master from pulp fiction. That bit was pretty gay.
How can he be offended by a sailboard brand then?

There's nothing gay about JP's, I know a lot of ladies that sail them, real men ride Blue Juice.

Hey zed,
the size spread on the three boards sound perfect, that should cover you for pretty wide spectrum of conditions. I weigh 70-74kg and Ive always hade a small board around 67-69ltr and a and big board around 74ltr and that has always covered me well.
Im asuming your talking about the new pro wave (replacement for the radical wave)for the smaller board, that is now 66ltr. I would recomend looking at something like the realworld wave for the big one, the slightly straighter rocker line will help you on the lighter days, and they also rip on shore. hope that helps
