What is the story with the sea gulls in fishing boats hammering in along all the kites and sails from Mullaloo 2 the point , there is a port side channel maker there and those dick heads should not be on the beach side of it!!
I see it all the time of late boats coming into the kite zone .... what are they thinking !!!
This is unsafe and any boat skipper that does this at those speeds should lose there coxswain licence........someone is going to be cleaned up and at this rate soon !!!
There are some tossers in this world !!!
My question is how to stop them

And if we had a fishing forum they would be complaining about the D/head sailors getting in their way.

maybe a better idea would be to give up kiting......
as the kites do not own the ZONE!!!!! and have the same responsibility as the boat owners and windsurfers to provide clear passage.
if the kite was predictable ..............well we wont go there will we..

Can't see anyone water skiing when the WS'ers (or even kiters) are out.

There is a 8kn rule (same as in a channel) when within 100m (200m?) of the beach / riverbank or within a certain distance of swimmers or paddlers.......... if they are breaching those or any other rules then **** them. I've got a mate in Water Police I'll mention it to him.

Mate deal with it, they were around before us, and heading back to Hillarys in a howling seabreeze isnt the most exciting thing to do, nor is it any more fun to drive an extra mile around the kiteing area. Just go around them, only instance I've seen in the last few months is a boat parking and fishing halfway out to that reef(no big problem as 90% of people dont ride out that far). I'm sure Darren will have something to say if it becomes an issue,
thanks
Matt

Hang on JUST DEAL WITH IT????!!!!!!

The original post complains of boats hammering thru and close to windsurfers and kiters. They have to give way to us BY LAW and his post implies that is not happening.

Maybe I'll drive a horse and cart up the freeway, cut u off in your car... and say "deal with it....cos they were around before cars"

hey Mark let us know when you are making the drive.... will be a great shoot for the Utube....put a sail on as well...
unlike cars which must keep the the left, the over riding rule on the water is ...dont crash into each other.. keep to the right, boats are permitted to travel basically wherever, the red identifies the chanel only..
good luck driving your horse..
