Boom grip repair

any good advice on replacing a section of grip on a boom? some of the grip has been completely torn off (due to neglect on my part).

it's not to hard regripping a boom, you just buy a regrip kit, glue it on and sand the edge, you can still get funky colours still too.. hardest part is getting your old stuff off.

Mathew, cant recall the product, but email Ian at this store, he recommended a product that you place in a plastic garbage bag (large) and let the boom sit in it for about 24 hours, the grip just falls off.

Think its acetone, but not sure. He did indicate its a hazard to breath in vapours
