Well there is water......

Any decent wave spots really close to Bunbury? I know I don't have to go far from there to get to all the classic down south spots ...and really hardie's ****** is not far, but I may have a chance at a job in Collie, so the closest is Bunbury and the extra half hour to Margies etc would be too far.

There are some ok wave spots near bunbury ,
most ppl sail in the estuary or at binningup. im sure there are better spots but i dont know where just yet.

binningup works on a sw which is what most breezes are here in the summer.

coming from up north you will be dissapointed with the wind in bunbury.

nice place - no wind

Not what I wanted to hear yes I had 4 days a week on 4.5 for at least 2 months of this summer just gone

Binningup or A may be a bit far unless on days off when I can spare the time to drive for one hour+

Busso would be OK for westerly B&J say 1-2km east of the jetty?? and for a SW maybe the western side of the bunbury "point" ..... about WNW of the centre of town?

Whats a 4.5 ? lol

The australind estuary is good for B&J and its good in anything from S to W to N and all inbetween.

or theres koombana bay which is good in anything that doesnt include south

yeh , theres heaps of water and a moderate amount of wind there are a few wavesailers around i wanna get into the waves but havnt been good enough yet , winter is coming tho!

i spent 90% of summer on a 5.8 so its not all that bad

binningup is about 30 mins from bunbury centre and about 20 from australind

I'll swap ya spots. The work here is good though Mark. I tend to do a lot of travelling to go sailing. Normally head your way Oct on and the south coast Dec on. Still a great place to live, but sailing is average. In winter there are some good options. Mav Im not sure you could call the estuary b&j And buying property here you will expect to pay Perth prices New Worsley expansion there will be people here in their droves
