Went up there for the weekend with the family and got 18knts for a few hours sat (will this win me the caloundra speed challenge had average 24 knts). What a delightful little spot, spoke to a couple of locals who said there is only usually three people out there. Cra....pped myself when i went through a pod of about 6 dugons doing what they do....nothing! Sorry locals your secrets out!
Sorry Sonic .... went to Speed Challenge, no wind, so went back to Manly, 14-18kts. Ended with a 5x10sec average of 25.6 kts (max. 26.9kts) on my freeride gear. Shhhhh.... Manly is a secret spot!
