Is it just me or has the "buy n sell" area had a real downturn on this site.....? I like the new format as the old forum based page was subject to people flaming up others adds & sometimes gazzumping (poor form I reckon). Seems all you can buy now is second hand Starboards & race sails...!

Hey Big Al, want to get rid of your new Exocet already, to upgrade to a WaveCult perhaps?
Think this new Buy/Sell section is much better, less tirekickers and mostly people who are more serious. Sold 3 sails last week and pretty stoked about it.Spoke to a couple of people down at the beach who said they managed to sell quite abit as well. So seems most of the good stuff is gone and only those crappy starboards left thats why the section is depleted.....

Is there a mechanisim to put the date of listing for the ad? Additionally are sold items able to be removed?

Katapult, yes there is a tab to remove sold item by the seller, people get a bit casual and just forget to remove when item sells,I think. Maybe it needs to be tweeked so the seller has to action his item/s every X days to keep an item up on the "for sale screen"

Ah Mr Cheer you make me laugh, no chance of swapping the Exocet with the WaveClodd thankyou. Good to hear about your sails, now you only need some paisly style sails to match your board..... Hippy...!
I did get p#ssed off with the old forum style where you'd place an add only to have some w#nker hijack it with one of those "I have a XXX for $10 cheaper", that sh#ts me.
I was getting a bit crazy.
