Hi
I need some help in chosing the right board for myself. I am 65kg, 6"0 and i am seeking a free ride board that goes fast but is also fairly easy to sail. I also would like to know what type of sail types and sizes and also a bit about fins as well.
If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
Cheers!

Lethal,
Try to narrow your search down a bit before posting. I would love to help you out but unfortunately It would take me days to write a conclusive recomendation for what you are seeking.
Find some boards which you think could be suitable and then post again asking everyones thoughts on them, this should give you more concise feed back.
In a nutshell,
All "freeride boards" will go fast and be easy to sail, that is why they are "freeride boards" and not Race or Wave boards.
Can you water start if you cant you will need volume of at least 100l so you can up haul.
For sails any freeride or free move sail should be adequate. A good size for NSW would be about a 6.0 for you (dependant on where you will sail are you inland or on the coast)
For fins bigger means more lift, stiffer means more lift, upright means more lift, this gets you going quicker however control and manauverabilty will suffer. Smaller, softer and less upright give more control but less lift. Most new freeride boards will come with a fin which is about halfway between the two extremes.
Hope this helps
