Has anyone used them?

Does the PVC tubing they use to protect the lines wear out quickly?

just too give you guys an idea, whenever we break the outer covering of the lines we go to the local auto shop and buy gasoline/diesel fuel lines with braided strips and redo the harness lines, they last as long as the original and 1/8th the price...

Yeah I know, I've got some hydraulic high pressure hose, I used this on my old harness lines and it worked a treat, outlasted the velcro on the bit that attaches to the boom.

I was just wondering if anyone had used these, because it's easier to replace the tubing when the rope is new, rather than when it's old and has permanent kinks.

So I guess no-one's used these particular lines?

hmm..i've never seen a pvc that thin and pliable..i try to use see thru oil resistant tube lines so i can see if sand has invaded and is eating away on the tubing..there's a harness spreader bar that i sometimes use that limits wear on the lines. it's by dakine and has a roller instead of a hook type..

Yes it's called the reactor bar and I've been using the same one for years and ezzy do harness lines that have clear hard plastic covers so you can see if the rope is wearing inside
Also Nebs a cheapish set of adjustables might be OK short term to get the most suitable length right for you then go to fixed

i'd still go with any clear light colored oil or liquid lines. sometimes they sell it by the meter and thickness is a must too. reactor bars! shucks i have one and don't even remember the name..any line will wear out quickly with sand inside..and after a season of not using it they tend to crack and tear...
