I was reading a French Windsurfing magazine the other day ("reading" by looking at the pictures, that is), and I saw all these photos of people sailing on really really old gear - but the photos had to be recent, because they were wearing modern wetsuits, harnesses etc. I finally figured out that it was a special "bring out your classic gear day". It was MAD, people were out on the water on the most bizarre, crazy-looking kit.

I'd love to see that happen in Aust, especially in a decent blow. Attn WindWanderers and any other Aussie windsurfing organisations! Has this been done before?? It's be a laugh a minute, even before the post-session beers, I reckon...

I know I'm not local anymore but I still got love for youze guys...
