Hey guys, does someone know where around southport i can get some good clear sail repair tape? wittworth has them in all colours but not clear one and surf fx has nothing at all. thanx
Go to BIG W, search the stationery dept. for Sellotape 50mm wide clear tape. It's ideal for repairing monofilm, it's tough as nails and costs around $5 per roll.
Hmm. Whitworths in Melbourne cetainly used to sell clear 100mm wide sail repair tape. Brilliant stuff. Can Southport get stock in from elsewhere? (Although not exactly a great profit maker)
I've found Norton All weather tape works well if ur after a strong,durable repair,not as clear as the thinner tapes,(close) but sticks well & uv resistant,can find at major hardware stores,about 11-12 $ for 48mm x 25m roll.
