So Celeveland to Straddie it's about 10km in distance, with a south as the wind direction it might be a fun run. Has anyone done it on a windsurfer ? or would you run into problems with currents ?

That's a pretty short run isn't it. Cleveland to Dunwich ? - In a southerly you'd stay on the south side of Peel. There are lots of rocks to the north of Peel, and to the east and west points of Peel close in. There probably is a tidal current between Peel and Dunwich. It looks pretty safe and easy. Take a phone.
