I posted a request for reference pics to do this painting but didnt have any luck so had to use my own.Great to do a painting that means something to me for once.( I usually do commissions).The link below will show it .

It looks a lot better in the flesh as it is 20 x 80cms and the web publisher I use wouldn't allow me to put up a large enough image to show it properly.

looks good Sue, is that a caveman board i see? very authantic veiw of the old wavesailing scene at Nobby's..

Yep a few caveman boards..I didn't put much detail into the boards as I wanted the attention on the figures & guys in the surf.One of the reasons I was so inspired to paint it was I used to sail with everyone + the yellow RH board is mine but its before I bought it....I bought it a few years after this pic was taken.
