I got some photos and videos of the action at Crazies between 4:30 and 5:00.

It was bloody hard to hold the camera still but if you wanna see yourself tell me which sail you had and i'll send them to you.

I'll eventually get around to posting some in the photos section too.

30-40knots!!!!!

My sail was black Leech. It was my 5.7m Tushie and 86L Fish. Did you get any photos of me?

I didnt think there was too much action happening due to everyone being stupidly overpowered. If there was any good footage or photos it would be good to see.

i was the fat kid on a blue 4m voodoo and a red acid 88. I have no idea what sails the other legends where on but i felt very average holding on for my two runs for dear life.

I raise my bottle of little creatures to you all out there ripping in such challenging conditions.

i hit the water at about 4,30.

I did one run hit a ramp and had my kit ripped from my hands and had to swim for it. Not sure how strong the gust was but i'm 95kg in my underpants and had my 4m set flat as.

Went home about 4.30 boy was it windy when it first kicked in at about 1pm. Hoop was out there first as the test dummy on a 4.2 I think, cant believe he packed up for an hour went to the dentist then came back again for some more punishment.
Some or those gusts were awesome on the edge sailing or what!

Done a drive by around 2 but was disapointed to see a wild sea with no one out. Must have been bad timing

after doing a recovery from a big backslapper i saw team goya/quatro aka windshack do some massive jumps in front of me, big jumps look awesome when u r bobbing around just underneath

I especially like the long landscapey one's, they look good.

Interesting that there was only a couple of pics of someone jumping and no on the wave moves. Was it a matter of hanging on for grim death, or did you just not get many?

Jumps were the flavour of the day.... very defensive jumps.

Standing on the beach, I had to lean into the wind to stop myself being pushed over so I may have missed a few on the wave moves. But it looked like it was more about surviving than riding.

The guys who were out are probably better qualified to answer your question tho!

Was wondering why you were claiming 5.7 and Leech was claiming 30-40kn. I was about to ask which one was the bovine excrement artist
