Hey Rustle. Where were you on Saturday? 4 of us out at Currumbin. Only just enough wind for the 5.3 but the waves were a realy fun. The whales also came in to play in the alley. Good to see the season open.

Hey Rustle/Poledancer,

Looks like the wind's shifted to Thursday...

What's the best wind direction for the point? Do you launch from inside the alley, or on the eastern beach side of the point? It looks like an easterly wind means cross-on, is this right?

Been a while since I've done the triathlon there

The best direction for the point is anything SE or more E. Too much south and you have to play on the beach side. A launch on the Alley side is always safer.
