what fin setup were u using Hardie??
Jane Seaman was riding one with the middle fin larger than the 2 outer fins , but the outer fins were still larger than those from a fish.
She said Blair from margies rekoned that was the best setup, but I cant remember the finer details to that particular conversation.
It makes me feel really bummed that i didnt give one a go when she offered me a ride during the wave nats.
Hot lookin boards tho! i think we shall se many nore on the water this coming season.

Yes same as jane's setup, it's the best wave board I've ever had by a long way, can already do things I was struggling to do on my current 3 waveboards, they'll be trashed now!!

Thought I should clarify.

This board feels so good to me because it's the first big wave board (100 litres) that I've ridden that is super loose, and I mean super loose and turny.

Given that I am well endowed with gravitational forces (a fat Bastard), I have tended to ride big wave boards which are not loose or super turny, because 80 litre sinkers are a nightmare for a big bloke who's 45 and not that fit and lives in a comparitively low wind area like Mandurah.

So whether you smaller blokes with already loose and turny boards would find the difference as mind boggingly sensational as I did, is probably debatable.

Still a great board tho, but be realistic in expectations if you are light and already have good wave board.

Was that you out on monday arvo or was it Alby on the north 6.9, I couldn't tell cause of the helmet?

four days of wind and waves in late april was a great surprise. I only managed to get out once but while it was not epic or huge, it was great fun to get some nice rides with no crowd.

Hey Guys

Finally glad to hear the word is out on the Euphoria. I can give you a full review on this board when i get the chance to sit down long enough. I rode two different sizes all summer at scarbsorough and it certainly improved my sailing heaps. But thats not to say small guys aren't loving it either, just look at Blair Simpson (light as) down south, and he rips it to pieces.

The good news is that it is in production as we speak and will be available in three sizes under the Kinetic Sailboards label next summer.

For anyone looking for information on the whole Marty Littlewood/Delta Designs/Kinetic Sailboards association then look up:

www.kineticsports.com/aboutus.htm

(the website is still a work in progress so ignore some of the dead links, more info on the Euphoria will be available soon)

speak to you all soon

Paul,

Twas me, I usually like to keep my private identity differentiated from that Hardie idiot.

I was impressed with your light wind wavesailing, so much so, that you are now banned from sailing at Hardie's beach on light wind days which are reserved for me to be the best looking, most dynamic wavesailor out!!!!!!!

Hardie have you seen Reg's Euphoria?? by far the biggest one i've seen- was easily 100+L.
Geez it must have been light if you were on 6.6 and 6.9 that day!

if i recall propperly Jane had 2 boards but even in the light she prefered the smaller one for the conditions at the nats. i think it might have been 7'6"??? you should check out the photos pedro took of the sh!t she was pullin off on that board aswell.

Just another board to add to the wish list!

Hardie, you'll always be the best looking, most dynamic wavesailor out when I'm around, remembering I'm a bespeckled fella!

How does the Delta compare on price to the imported big name boards at the shops?
So volume really is king??

Kecksy Babe,

Us larger gentlemen, need volume, however, volume tends to hinder performance, this is the only board 100 litres, that I've tried that is super manouvreable.

Cost, don't know, mine's custom for the special guy I am, they will be released as production boards later this year.

Custom is around 2.5K

That's why I'm broke and you guys have money, I spend money before I earn it, then cry poor!!!!!!

I LOVE YOU

And yes have had another sail on it, and it is incredible, but be warned. it is a wave board, not a slalom or freeride...
