Does anyboby know how long this thing with all its snags is going to be in the water? And why did we need to dredge this area anyway? Would have been better of dredging Narrabeen Lake don't you think.

Yeah, been watching it's progress. I first saw it just North of the Novotel, and it's been progressing slowly north for about a month. From its historical rate of progress, it should only be another couple of week before it's hopefully gone, but I've stayed well clear of it, launching down near the teabaggers. There appears to be all manner of buoys, ropes, lines and pipes coming off it.
