Bob van der Burgt surfed from Scheveningen (NL) to Lowestoft (UK) and back.
Right across the most busy stretch of water you can imagine, the channel, full of oil tankers, container vessels etc.

Objective was to raise money for people with muscle illnesses

Very impressive indeed, knowing he did it on foil, cutting through one of the biggest shipping lanes in the world, and returning to his starting point in Scheveningen well past midnight, so in the dark...!
