Well Done mate!
Great numbers. That will get a few of the Perth crew thinking about getting down to Mandurah.

Thanks Chris,

The Hardie fella has found a ball tearer run, it's not for the faint hearted as it's a bit shallow in places and very weedy, the hidden rocks (close to the shore) are an added thrill.

It was perfect last night, a good solid base wind with some nice gusts, the run was amazing

Been playing around with a 23cm weed fin which I made up a while back which has really come on song (or I've learnt a bit).

Only downside was sailing by myself, the Hardy Fella was working up in Perth.

It would be good to get the Perth crew down, I reckon they would move the goal posts a fair bit, those boys are in a different league.

Were you only using a 4.9 in 20 to 27 knots. Seems a bit small. Obviously didnt slow you down at all though .

Alby, top run/s liked your comment re "have trouble sleeping tonight"
Know what you mean, I was involved in another sport that had speed runs, and yep same thing, the adrenalin kicked in and no sleep for ages. But its worth it, just to hit new PB’s each time
