What is the fastest recorded speed of a windsurfer in queensland?Were was it and when.....oh and who?

not sure, but I think I have set the record for the fastest nude run.

Not sure but I think Vando and Pierre's session in early july was very close if not the fastest, check www.gpsteamchallenge.com.au website and look up the Moreton Bay Mob's July runs.

Fast Phil Nott has done some good runs up there also (2 sec of 38-39ish from memory). Don't think he cracked 40 in QLD but did 42.1 at Yamba.

Geoff Ringe mentioned Burram Heads as a great spot. Have you guys done that one yet with good wind?

Do you mean a Qld resident, once a Qld resident or in Qld waters?
5th July 2007 at Wello in Qld, Vando n Pierre have a listed 2 sec max (software) of 40.0kts, although Pierre said when he ran his data through Realspeed it was actually higher.
Phillip Knott, a Qld resident, went to Yamba in NSW and did a 42.2 kt 2 sec peak. Vando 41.1 at Sandy Pt in 2006.
Vando world 1 hr speed record holder a little while back.
By fastest do you mean.....
* 2sec
* 5x10 sec
* 500m
* 1 hr.....?
Could be othrs....anyone?

I would have to say Pierre by 0.007 of a knot based on peak 1sec speed

Pierre = 40.171
Vando = 40.164
Bugger he must of Farted I recon

.
Its possible thats others have done 40knots but none that can be confirmed, well not that im aware of.

Mikey I think sonic means in QLD waters.
Steve Allan would be the quickest QLD with a 43.58 500m at the ditch France.

Yes i did mean in Queensland waters,any nationality,i think we are all"outsiders", i was there at wello for that day and this is what i was wondering was that July the day the benchmark was set???
I went to Burram heads once and its got potential....i would guess it needs a southerly.Locals please comment...whatch the dougongs(sp)

Yes Phil Knott is fast and was at wello that day but the locals had the advantage and nerve.

Those boys doing 40knts at wello would have a blast in perfect conditions at Sandy Point.

Would it be safe to say, Pierre(fart assisted) The flying dutchman and Phil?? In that order??
