The ferro derro has been refloated and moved from the Manly windsurfin waters down to Wynum (pandanus beach). So there will be no sun lounge rest spot as I had hoped this summer.
Local bayside tourist icon (made the local newspaper), is on the move again.It would seem this vessel moves around more than many of the boats in Manly harbour. Looks like somebody stole the anchor winch so it drifted north to its new home up against the rockwall at the entrance to Wynum creek.
just saw the ferro derro on the ch 7 news. Reported to have broken its moorings in todays weather and washed onto the rockwall.(but we know its been there for days) Maybe by tomorrow it will be part of the rock wall( the white rocks )
