It’s starting soon and the current forecast is epic… but that aside. Watching pvb’s video from today the universe has finally made sense…

Berndt’s girlfriend is a fairy… whilst i don’t know either.. to an outsider that just makes sense…

I can't for the life of me work out where this is going to be live streamed.

Can someone point me in the right direction??

My wild guess is it will be on their YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@world_wave_tour/WWT communication strategy is a bit lacking. Sometimes events have their own web site, sometimes they seem to have an event page on the PWA website and sometimes they are buried deep in the WWT web site. There is some random stuff on Instagram but you need to either go specifically to their Instagram page or hope the Instagram algorithm serves up the right content. And then there is a Facebook page which has the event times but no links.

If you are subscribed to the WWT YouTube channel you should get a notification of the live stream in your subscription page.

Would be helpful if they had a consistent way of communicating these events. But I guess in the age Instagram, TikTok and AI web pages have become an afterthought so you are left with either hoping the algorithm serves up the content or you have to chase the content in 5 different spots.

Good call, hopefully that will do the job!

Case in point re the live stream... you go to www.liveheats.com/events/490099 and the heat info there is completely different to what's published on the web site in a news post. On the YouTube channel there is no place holder or an upcoming event notification. The Fiji TV link is blocked for anyone outside of Fiji. The event schedule is buried in a post somewhere in the Facebook feed.

Not wanting to state the obvious but given you are trying to deliver maximum audience to your event sponsors a more thought out comms and marketing strategy for each event would do wonders. Dedicated event web site, comms plan for socials and youTube. They had this for the Maui event but I assume the marketing guys in Quatro / Goya managed that.

Epic action but such a shame to see Jaeger injured in a massive send.

He did go absolutely huge, if that’s a consolation.

So bummed for jaeger. From what i‘ve seen he had figured things out and was in my mind going to win the event ahead of berndt…

i ho-\pe he has a quick recovery. Prob one of the nicest guys in windsurfing. Super sad bout not seeing him rip on the last day.

There are some great waves and just saw Berndt rip a wave in the final for 9 point ride 🙏
Bugger for Jaeger, awesome port tack rider, he would have been in the final.

Interesting they had Jason Polakow on and asking him about dream tour locations.
To become world champion, you need to be so all-round with DTL & onshore on both tacks.
But really want to just see DTL 😎

Simeon just posted an interview on wwt socials where they do a run down of the full tour.. it’s amazing there are a bunch of new 4 star venues… gonna be so exciting. France, brazil, scotland etc. the aim seems to be to elevate these new locations from 3xstar to help get the top tier national sailors to experience a pro tour without huge travel expenses.

Congratulations WWT it looked as good as it gets.
Watched nearly all from PVB arrivals and interviews to the finals.
Shame that Jaeger was injured, could have been anyone in those conditions, lip launching punts.
You all rip. Bernd next level.
Amazed by how durable the WS Equipment was.
Breaks happened but generally it looked like most kit survived some crazy wash ins.
Great seeing the Aussie East Coast crew in the mix.
Windsurfing @#$% I love it.
