Hey everyone,
I just bought a new starboard kombat which has positions for four footstraps however it only came with three. For the sailing i do (freeride) i think that the four will be much better, atleast thats what i have experianced with other boards. The boards a 2005 model and ovcourse i cant find any matching footstrap to the grey starboard ones that came out in 2005. I would much prefer to have all the footstraps the same and i have checked out all local stores with no luck.
- Is there any way to contact starboard to get one sent out?
- Does anyone have a 2005 starboard footstrap they would be willing to sell?
- Does anyone have a set of four they are willing to sell relatively cheeply?
I've already spent so much money on the board that i don't have that much more to spend, so buying four brand new ones for me is prity expensive. Any other suggestions would be good. My last option if none of these work is to buy two brand new ones and just have matching ones on the back and front.

Hey Bub,
I Have an 05 combat with all the grey straps (which I still use). But have just recieved a new 08 futura and the new straps are heaps better, hold way less water than those old grey ones, bite the bullet man and go for new.

I don't really have any more money to spend on it. I'm hoping someone here will have a cheap set, an old 2005 starboard one or some advice on how to get them before my next sail. At the worst i'll just buy two new ones but i would prefer to have them all the same.

It just so happens that I have an extra Footstrap from my Kombat 85. I went out and bought 2 Dakine footstraps to fit in the rear position as I only had one rear one to start with. Having the 2 fitted to the back definately makes a difference when using the board for freeride blasting. The only thing is that my footstrap is blue not grey so it wont be a matching set. If you still want it anyway, email me your address and I'll send it out to you..
