Just a friendly message which most of the locals already know- Do not use the trailer parking bays, by doing so you will return to find a $60 fund raiser from the Police.

The wheels will start to turn soon that the third row of trailer parking (in front of the old clubhouse) be removed and extra parking be provided for normal cars. They could provide single parking bays there and possibly also a centre set of parking bays, this could also help to curb the hoon activity in the area by not leaving one big lane for them to use.

I am a boatie myself but I use the point every other day and from what I have observed the sea side parking has never been filled by trailers and I would have no problem with police issuing tickets on this side. The third row I believe would have been put in place for the now defunct yacht club.

If you feel strongly for this please feel free to write to the council/MP, details will either be provided by Padi or myself over the next few days. Hopefully we could work with them to provide workable solutions instead of the mess they made last year with the point upgrade.
