How about that then? Crikey! Got to crack out a 4.7 after hanging on to a 5.2 for waaay too long.

Anybody got some action stories?

My highlights were getting pelted by shards of hail (ouch), getting trashed when the wind dropped, only to them get a miracle 20 second gust to get me inshore, lots of big jumps, a few waves and seeing some other crew getting trashed .. haha! (glad it's not always me)

Yer avalon wasn't to bad. Davo was going nuts with huge forwards and a few 1 handed attempts. I got a few forwards in thought, had a backies attempts, kinda landed it but got my foot stuck in the strap so its kinda bruised. Bring on the weekend i say, SW with huge swells

Avalon was fantastic wasn't it, I'll have to come more often. I am glad I overheard your conversation on the forum the day before. Also it was a great pleasure to sail in such company!

i had my best day sailing in months. Highlights included my one handed forward attempt in which i forgot to jump and my mega catapult right in front of some sailors on the beach, perfect projection i think, not much height but plenty of distance! Another highlight before we even got sailing was on the way down, Simon and Stefan's karaoke to Salt N Pepper push it was priceless.

Haha, glad that the wind swung for you guys, i left just in time to have ten mins to get ready for work when i got home. Damn i am sore all over today!

Well after months of waiting to try out 2 new prototype boards Avalon was a perfect testing ground absolutely stoked with one board one of the best boards I have ever made!! (thanks for your input Alberto )
Davo87 was that you going for the forward and both your feet came out of the straps and your body did an outsretched forward flip as you still tried to hang on to the boom, if so that was me waving at you from the shore havin a chuckle.
After the young crew left (no stamina the youth of today)I changed down from 5.0 to 4.5 was exellent for a while then it just got hell stronger.
Saw Leski gybe infront of a huge swell that just decided to jack up and turn into a mast high breaking wave and swallow him up another chuckle for me
Was a fun day ...............about time
Like your new red Tushy sail Lozza matches your board, nice board too

Hey guys!
I think the "no-hands-no-feet-forwardloop" was me I was so much my self when I landed in the water! Must have been the wipeout of the day... or pretty close to it!
A great day with great people!
The water tornado was pretty cool too.

After much thought over sail size I tackled Gerries. Headed out nicely powered on 5.2. First on the water & first to get nailed by incoming squall. Back to the beach for a rest & recovery. Anyway after getting nailed by the shore break, swimming after my gear for what seemed like forever & struggling with the onshore down the line wave sailing while over powered I had a bunch of fun. Left the young crew to it and it seemed to turn more SW after I derigged. Avalon looked pretty nice to.

Gunna do it all again Saturday.
