Hi.
It would seem my progress through the corporate structure may take me to Geelong at the end of this year.

Is there plenty of windsurfing in the area?

I'm sure I can find somewhere, as the place is basically surrounded by water.

I used to surf a lot along the torquay coast in the late 90's but can't remember ever seeing any sails out.

Any ideas? Cheers

Used to sail at Pt Henry a bit - good for a sea breeze, flat water and B&J. Then of course there's Torquay, site of the world's first double forward (according to Polakow KA1111). Also mouth of Barwon River is ok, and heaps of other beaches around. Sure you'll find something to your liking.

Myself and 'Chef' heading to Geelong and hoping to head out Pt. Henry way next Friday (if conditions allow.)

Not wavesailors, just hoping for a consistent breeze. Have been told that 'booties are the go!'.....sea-urchins....nasty things.
