I think there's one at Shoalhaven Heads (other end of 7 Mile Beach).
But any campsites that are popular will be busy this time of year. Worth a try though.
There's also one at Werri Beach (Gerringong).

There's a few spots along the beach in the national park that you can "allegedly" stay in your car, but watch out for the ranger.

Either way, just get down here. It's gonna be on!

Don't get your hopes up too high for the next few days. Todays southerly probably the last time all you guys will be sailing in Gerroa this year. Coming down for the next 6 days tonight and probably be bringing typical Long Reef NE conditions of 7-10 kts with me knowing my luck...

Sure, the forecast looks ok ish for the next few days but it did so too the last 4 times over the previous 2 years I went down there and I didn't get a sail in. Anyway sitting in the office thinking about what excuse I could use to leave early enough to make some use of that S change this arvo...
Oh yeah as I'm going through the SMH just noticed a little article about beachclosure in Geringong, Gerroa, Hyams due to Hammerheads and Whalers yesterday.... Even if there is no swell, ther might be other excitement

I don't even bother sailing unless there are at least Hammerheads and Whalers around.

Is the wind still on down south at Gerroa ?
Just got back from 9 days in WA... sailed 3 times (including christmas day) but it was pretty ordinary
Didn't help having only my little 74 wave board to ride after I left in WA when I returned from Gero 4 weeks ago

Hope there is some sign of wind and waves down there... if so i will be down to join the elusive 'Go Gerroa Team'

Peto... I feel for ya buddy... but just keep dreaming about Mauritius later this year and it will all balance itself out when we are scouring mast high 400m long waves on the outer reef with MA and all the rest of the NSW crew are sailing gusty freezing south westers !
