Any up for a sail at the Gerroa bomby on Tuesday? If the 3 meter NE swell plus 15/25 knts NE are coming in it could be great.

what a way to start the new year, tuesday was the best gerroa day I have had with wind and swell 5.0 sail and 69 quatro. Wednesday was **** hot as well.

Didn't make it down Wed but tues was pretty epic. Was a pity the wind was a tiny bit too north (patchy on the inside). Big waves made up for it though :D

Yes was disapointed i didn't think of driving down for a sail, herd it was a hell of a lot of fun. does anyone have photo's of the 2 days? or was everyone too busy sailing?

How good was it?? Shame the bomby didnt have much wind. Looked like everyone was really ripping too! Saw some awesome waveriding.
I have a few pics but there only from the north end of the beach so they dont really do the day justice as the waves further down were like 4 times the size or more!

Yeah I went out to the Bommie initially (1pm-ish) and the waves coming through were EPIC. Thing was the wind was deadset shocking, 10kts maybe, you had to really pump hard to get onto a wave and once you'd ridden it there was about a 10min slog to get back up to the lineup. I gave up after 2 waves, too much slogging :( If it was windy out there it would have been fantastic.
I've never sailed that far down the beach but as you say the waves were huge down there :D

wednesday was prob half the size of tuesday but the wind was a solid 25kts. I need to get down there more, only a 3hr drive.

Missed Tuesday, Wednesday was good, but had more fun on Thursday. Tommorrow looks possibly good also.

Correction, I think I got my days wrong there, I missed Monday, then sailed Tuesday & Wednesday.
