Anyone else get down to Gerroa this arvo, because it was what can only be described as HUGE! When you see the second bommie breaking that big, well...

Forecast was for NE 15-20kts and it was probably gusting to 20 and a bit-sih, although a little patchy. Some of the waves, particularly further down the beach were over mast high, there were some hairy rides and a few masts and a sail that went up in smoke. Personally I was ****scared, but it had to be done and I didn't break anything so all is good. There's nothing like heading out in a pathcy spot of breeze looking at a huge wave walling up in front of you and thinking, if I don't get a gust this is going to hurt.
