I will be in Gerroa over the summer, just wondering if the North end of 7 Mile is only a wavesailing destination or whether it is possible for a "semi beginner" (I can get on the plane but can't water start as yet) to lanch in the corner without copping the waves. I seem to remember people launching boats there but that could be my memory playing tricks. Give it a go, or stick to the lake??

Its pretty safe, just start from up the beach near the corner. Unless the surf is huge you will have no props
