Yeeee Haaaa!

It's alive! We've been quietly working away on the new Mobile site, and now it's ready for you to have a squiz!

Up until now, you've been able to get the wind readings on your WAP compatible phone via wap.seabreeze.com.au, but there are no graphs or forecasts (it was designed for older text only phones).

We've now customised the graphs (including the forecasts) to fit on the newer mobile phones that excellent web browsers in them.

Enter this URL into your mobile phone to check it out:

mobile.seabreeze.com.au

It features forecasts and live wind readings for all around Australia!

Enjoy .. Laurie

p.s. This is a "pre-release" of the mobile facility - it's early days in the development of the mobile side of things. If you'd like to comment or it doesn't work for you, reply here, or send an email to laurie[at]seabreeze.com.au

Hi,
on my blackberry (8700 model) the page displays well, the "normal" page is OK but when I zoom the images the (which the BB can do) I get the text and lines not sitting in the same place as they do normally (a bit hard to describe) and the more recent arrow (the one Im most interested in) is outside the grid. If I save the picture onto my computer and reload it via the BB it still does it when zooming but if I "edit" it and save it (without really changing it - just creating it again with an image editor) then it zooms perfectly !

But the mobile site doesnt have that problem, but of course the graphs are just in the middle of the screen with heaps of space on the left and right.

Thanks for the great site !

I thought it was about time I joined and tried to put a bit back.
