I bought a Loft boom at Christmas last year when my NP snapped.It lasted me until about October, when it snapped too.
It got replaced under warranty, but I was told that that the new boom has no warranty.
Don't Loft have faith in their product?
And the eBay price is the same as retail anyway.
The reason for that is, you cant get warranty on warranty.
When an item is replaced with a new item under warranty, that's the deal completed. If it didn't work this way, warranty wouldn't ever run out.
There are exceptions, like if the new item has a manufacturing defect and such.
Other than that, some suppliers will replace under a good will policy if your a regular customer, and they don't want to loose your trade (you spend huge with them

)
