Howdy
Advice needed please guys. I'm leaving windless Bunbury for a few days holiday in mid-January. This would be my first windsurfing holiday in about 6 years (yes, very sad). Time & rugrats restrict me from travelling further then Leeman. Whats the best spot where I could enjoy a good sail and my wife could enjoy the...scenery??
Cheers

Gday Rob,
Are you the same Rob I saw sailing on Sunday?
Any way up that way there are heaps of spots depending on what level and conditions you are chasing. Lancelin is a good bet, cause the wife and kids have got plenty to do and there are shops there. Can be a bit crowded that time of year though. Further north Cervantes is a good bet if you want calm water, but plenty of nice scenery for the family and some quality spots to stay. Around the Leeman/Greenhead area are some great conditions but not a whole lot to do for the cook. My wife used to go through about 3 books in our stay yearly at Greenhead. Not good for the browny points
Keep in mind in January the swell is a bit hit and miss but ya can get lucky and there are heaps of Euros and holiday makers around.

Lee, Can you recommend anywhere to stay in Cervantes? I've a mate in Perth who is keen to learn, and thought a weekend run to Cervantes may be the go as he progresses...

Hi Rooster, if you were at Binningup, that was me. Was that you with the van? Wind was a bit disappointing eh?
Thanks for the advice, I reckon I'll go with Lancelin, but just in case I cant get a booking, where is the nicest spot in Cervantes?
Cheers
Rob
