I've got 2 select fins, but neither of them sing.

What should I do to remedy this?

Sell them to me for $10 each to cut your losses and buy new ones. You will most likely have more luck with them!

Wiped up and down at 45 degrees to the edge on one side of the fin. Only light wipes. Just enough to take the edge off. I'd previously squared it off with an aluminium block and 600 paper so the two edges were very sharp. Now one edge is dull and the other sharp, and its killed the whistling. Didnt go any faster though :(

The law/theories of hydrodynamics are not as obvious as one would think :D

I de-sharp all my fins, particularly my waves fins as I'm interested primarily in the preservation of my limbs etc rather than doing 25kts as opposed to 24kts.

Indeed,

Fluidmechanics is referred to as one of the few remaining black arts.

Its up there with Quantum Physics as far as I am aware
