Love the music

How can one seemingly-simple move cause so much frustration? *sigh*

Why can't I see the videos? Do I need some sort of codec loaded? Or do I have an internet security thing stopping it loading? I'm running a Sony Vaio laptop with XP with Internet Explorer default setup so far as I know and Norton Antivirus and Internet Security also with defaults.

Hey Harrow,

Can't help you with the codec sorry, but how's ya jibin going?

Have you tried a strap to strap yet? I tried a number of times last session but fell off to the outside every time, just as I flipped the sail.

Nebbian,

Thanks for asking. It is getting better slowly but surely. Staying dry over half the time, but yet to get the elusive carve all the way in and out again. I am dying to try the strap to strap (ie. don't change feet until sailing away on the new tack), but there hasn't been enough wind down here. I'm getting to the point where I don't have to think too much about the carve now. It is pretty automatic, and I no longer worried about bouncing over the chop on my turn, so I'm free to think about the sail.

Still trying to plan a holiday north to meet up with all you guys. I'm overdue for a visit to my brother at Cabarita, and sister at Wynum/Manly, so should make it soon. When's the wind best up there?

Regards,
Harrow.

Hey Harrow,

Good to hear you're making progress

The wind up here is best when it blows. I've got no idea when that is, except that in winter sometimes it's from the west which isn't all that good.

From now till May I'm expecting lots of big southerlies to bullet up the coast but that might just be blind optimism
Let me know when you're coming up.
