for the most part it seems to always be windy on a friday! and am stuck early trying to finish up..it'll be midday soon and all the windtrees are fraying..by the time i try to get out it should be around 2:30pm and the traffic congestion on a friday is horrendous even for a small city and gets worse by 5-7pm when all the folks try not to get home but go around and enjoy the weekender and me i always try to figure out if i should try to load gear up and hack it out on a friday afternoon, snake thru 3rd world traffic jams..always![}:)]

Friday? Is today Friday?

Are you sure, JP747? How is it that people know these things?

Man, all I want is A DAY OFF FROM SAILING....after yet another day of wind, wind, wind...it was very gusty today, and there were times when I could barely handle a 5.0, and the shorebreak was bigger than I've seen it in weeks. *GROAN* Sore hands, sore knees, sore toes (from clenching them when overpowered)...

I just heard there's more big winds forecast, and I've been telling myself to take a day off, or at least a half day, but...it never seems to happen...I'm almost a hospital case...arghhhh...help...me...[}:)]

You and Nebbian must print your own money. All you'se seem to do is travel around windsurfing in ideal locations....

All right, it's not true.

But it's something I've always wanted to say with a straight face.

Try it: I...ROB...BANKS

Fun, eh?

yeah! i wish i just robbed banks just for a living and get the whole set-up from 50ltrs. all the way up to 160 then 3.0-11.0sq.mtrs. with the top pros to do the rigging and sailing with me then it'd be so much more fun, robby would do the driving, kevin would be rigging, finian coaching, antoine for drag racing, dunky chosing what board to use..oops it's reality..tsk tsk..oh by the way it's a friday cuz it really is windy and was doing something impt.

My neighbour when I was a kid used to rob banks. Seriously. He was one of Australia's most wanted while he lived next door. Used to do armoured cars with his son-in-law.

We used to call him "Uncle Bill". Nicest guy, you'd never pick him. "Bill, I like your new boat, and sports car. What do you do for a living?". "Lucky at the track mate".

Then one day a SWAT team came down the side of our house.

Hello Mr Orchard/Orchid if you are... somehow reading a windsurfing forum. My current neighbours just play the stereo too loud.

Mmmm fun yes. It would be more fun if you said "I rob banks to finance Jama Islamia". That would attract the attention of that data mining thingo that caches every such reference so that the poor sod who has the job of evaluating them in the never ending war against terror gets to read it and has a good laugh to lighten his dreary day.
How would that go as a pick up line I wonder?
And while the cops are surrounding the house you are down at the beach enjoying a quiet chortle at your wizard jape and wondering where your next meal is coming from.
I think Nebbs has it sorted. He hacks into the international financial exchange and redirects millions of small decimal parts of cents into his Christmas Island account.
His real name is ..... no I promised not to say. And for a small consideration I will be happy to keep it that way. Meanwhile the key to the safe deposit box containing the damning documentary evidence is in the mail to ...
