Looking at the photos I felt like I was an English naturalist in the early 1800s looking at a platypus. Is that for real - anyone used one? Looks part windsurfer, part sabot, part waveski.

I can see it now. A post from someone far across the sea, yet they say they are from Australia, but sometinmes not. I see snow, or something snowy, or is it a bird, something swift perhaps. I think they live in the mountains, but who really knows where they live?
And I see questions, strange questions, about having just bought a strange blue object wanting someone to identify what it is, how it's used and whether it's worth anything. And where it was made, and by whom. Pointless, pointless questions.

i think you woulf have to tack or gybe it like a normal dinghy, you would have to coz it has a rudder
i would love to have a go though....reminds me of when i singlehanded a flying ant (dinghy) there about the same size made for little kids but they are insane in anything over 20knts
