This might sound crazy but...how about windsurfing? I mean, initially I thought you were talking about off-the-water exercise, but if kayaking is in the mix...
Anything is good, wether on the water or off, above or below, it's kind of nice when fitness comes as a by-product of having fun. Due to a BL last year haven't been confident to put my foot back in the straps yet but not far off so was after ideas to safely build up the ankle.
Hey Matty, looking forward to catching up and got to say, didn't know SUPs could be that good, I thought they were for keeping the sun off the car

Sounds like a very good option.
Windskating, that's an awesome idea

. Used to do it around the Scarbrough car parks with Justin Stock years ago. Blew a couple of skateboard wheels apart as well until putting on the tractor tires, still got it

. Got the home gym, check. Just been out yakfishing today in Cockburn Sound with a 4mt GWS hanging around, for sale, 1 slightly soiled Kayak

.
Some good ideas guys, got no reason now not to get in shape for summer (insert Greenrooms big thumbs up picture here), cheers.
PS, go Webber!
